At Schneider’s Flooring America we believe in the principle of being the place where friends send friends. We’ve been thinking about all of you—our people, our customers, our suppliers, and our community—and anxious to see you all again, safely. 

With the most recent information and recommendations in mind, we are reopening our store at 400 3 Talcottville Road, Vernon, CT 06066. We did this with the health and safety of our employees, our customers and most of all our community in mind.

While our showroom is reopening, we continue to offer Shop At Home options. Because of the nature of the work we do, some of the most important pieces take place outside of our showroom and in the comfort of your home. We can move your project forward, safely, and in complete compliance with the new social distancing norms.

Shop at Home:

• Browse Online 24/7 - Now is the time to get a project started, you don’t have to come into our showroom to plan for your new floors. On our website, you’ll find product information, inspiration, planning and design tools.
• Samples to Your Door – Flooring is something you want to touch and feel before you purchase. We’ll bring the samples to your door or you can pick them up at our store. We’ll even bring them right to your car. All samples will be cleaned and disinfected before we deliver them.
• Virtual – Call or email us sfavernonct@sbcglobal.net to setup a Facetime, Zoom or Skype meeting.
• Talk to Us – Call us at 860-870-0055 to see how we can help.

Shop In-Store:

• Limit 2 Parties In-store at a Time - Now is the time for us to be more diligent about your safety. We want all customers to feel safe and ask that you respect this guideline. We will be monitoring the door and communicating with foot traffic.
• Wear a Mask at All Times – We ask you to join our staff with wearing a mask at all times. This protects us all from any possible transmission.
• Sanitize or Wash Hands before Entering – We will be washing our hands before each interaction with our customers and we ask that you do the same. If you don’t have access to hand sanitizer please ask so we can provide some for you.  
• Social Distance at 6 Feet or More – Please excuse us for not shaking hands or standing in close proximity. We ask all customers and employees to follow strict social distancing guidelines. This should help to keep us all in a safe healthy environment.

Personal Shopping Experiences Available

We understand if entering a store still poses a health risk or concerns you. To help we will offer Personal Shopping Experiences upon request. We can open the store early, allowing only you and our sales rep into the showroom. You will have full access to our complete product lines for as long as you need (typically 1 Hour is adequate).

In the over 28 years we’ve been serving Vernon, CT and the surrounding communities, we’ve never seen anything quite like this. We do know however that in uncertain times like these, we must be there for one another. The effects will be far-reaching, and, in response, we all need to think sensibly and empathetically. By following the latest trusted science and leading with our hearts, we will get through this together.

Scheduling Projects - Assume your project will be on time and completed as normal unless you hear from us. Should you feel additional steps are needed to assure your safety, just let us know. Our installers have all been instructed on how to create a safe work environment for everyone.

We’re Here For You - We are all going to be spending a lot of time at home in the next few weeks and months. Home will continue to be our office, our playground, our movie theater, even our social hub. You’re going to be spending a lot of time looking at those floors. It would be nice if they looked great. Maybe it’s time to start planning . . .  If you are, we would like you to support your local business.
